At PPCS, I was given the opportunity to start my online gallery, where I am responsible for discovering impressive digital artworks daily. After discussing with the artists, I obtain a print-quality copy of the work, provide it with a certificate, and display it on the website for a month. After this period, the artwork is auctioned online, where it is sold worldwide at a fair price.
Welcome! My name is Ilana Desya Volkov / Zuidema. I’m 19 years old and live with my father. We fled from St. Petersburg to the Netherlands in 2011. After completing my studies in graphic orientation and media design, I started exploring AI creations. This led me to my role as manager and creator at PicturePerfectCreationsStore (PPCS).
The certificate includes a clause stating that the artist is entitled to 15% of the resale value up to 70 years after their death, a regulation known as droit de suite. If the artwork is sold physically, PPCS handles the printing on materials like acrylic, metal, glass, or canvas, complete with a hanging system. Prices vary per piece.
Auction earnings are distributed as follows: €7.,50 euro goes to the online auction as a fee, 27% to the gallery for marketing and promotion, and the remainder is paid to the artist in euros or dollars. This way, we offer artists an alternative to the NFT hype and crypto scams by paying them in real currency they can use..
We are proud to announce that starting in October, our gallery will also be physically open in Groningen. We’ve found a beautiful location and are in the process of expanding—a dream come true for me.
